Roberta
Support Worker
South-Western Sydney
Roberta is a compassionate, supportive, and dedicated Support Worker who values the genuine relationships she builds with clients and their families. She finds it especially rewarding to help clients maintain their independence, build confidence, and feel comfortable knowing they have someone they can trust and rely on.
With almost two years at Gold Care Home Services and previous experience working as an Assistant in Nursing in a nursing home in Italy, Roberta brings valuable experience to her role. She also has palliative care experience, and before moving into aged care, spent years in hospitality, including leadership and management positions, which shaped her strong communication and people skills.
She completed a five year qualification in Health and Social Services in Italy and holds a Certificate III in Individual Support. She will also commence a Diploma of Dementia Care through the University of Tasmania next year, reflecting her particular passion for supporting people living with dementia and their families. Roberta's goal is to become a dementia consultant, supporting families with practical strategies and guidance while also mentoring other carers.
Based in South-Western Sydney, Roberta supports clients across Fairfield Heights, Roselands, Lugarno, Concord, Five Dock, Lilyfield and surrounding suburbs.
Roberta is fluent in both Italian and English, allowing her to connect comfortably with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of work, Roberta enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and cooking for family and friends.
